A few reasons why you should buy a pre-owned Honda CR-V instead of a used Nissan Rogue

If you are looking for a pre-owned SUV, chances are you took a look at the Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue. Both the Honda CR-V and the Nissan Rogue are among the best-selling options in their segment year after year when new and it stands to reason that they are also very popular on the pre-owned market. Both have great qualities and both are known for their reliability. That said, they do differ significantly when it comes to interior space as well as the features that they offer and the efficiency of their respective powertrains. Here we take a look at how the Honda CR-V compares to the Nissan Rogue.

If you are interested in a sport utility vehicle on the pre-owned market, the first criteria is likely interior space and cargo capacity. That said, you can get a lot of interior space without having to sacrifice fuel economy, particularly if you opt for a pre-owned Honda CR-V which has an average fuel consumption rating of 8.7 L per 100 km in the city, and 7.2 L per 100 km on the highway. A used Nissan Rogue also has decent efficiency, but it does require more fuel with an average fuel consumption rating of 9.6 L per 100 km in the city, and 7.5 L per 100 km on the highway.

We buy a sport utility vehicle for versatility first and foremost. At least, that would be the case with most buyers. In other words, although the fuel economy and the performance of the Honda CR-V stands the comparison very well with the Nissan Rogue, at the end of the day you are probably wondering which of these two pre-owned SUVs offers the most cargo space.

The answer to that question would be the CR-V which offers 1,110 L of cargo space behind the rear seats, and 2,146 L of cargo space total. The Nissan Rogue, on the other hand, offers about the same cargo space behind the rear seats, but just 1,980 L total. The Honda CR-V is also very impressive in terms of rear legroom and overall interior space for your passengers.
