Honda Odyssey Gets Tech Boost, New Styling for 2025

Honda Canada has announced the release of the 2025 Odyssey minivan, featuring enhanced styling, upgraded technology, and new standard features. The updated model is set to arrive at Canadian dealerships this summer, offering four well-equipped trim levels: Sport, Sport-L, Touring, and Black Edition.

Exterior Enhancements

The 2025 Odyssey boasts a refreshed exterior design, including a new grille and reshaped front and rear fascias that accentuate its wide stance. Larger black fog light surrounds and redesigned rear bumpers with vertical reflectors inspired by the Acura NSX add to the vehicle's premium look. New wheel designs are available across all trims, with the Black Edition receiving exclusive 19-inch black alloy wheels. A new Solar Silver Metallic colour option has also been introduced.

Interior and Technology Upgrades

Inside, the Odyssey receives significant technology updates. A standard 7-inch digital instrument display now features a digital tachometer and customizable functions. The centre console houses a larger 9-inch colour touchscreen with improved processing speed, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and additional USB-C ports throughout the cabin.

The Rear Entertainment System has been revamped with a larger 12.8-inch high-resolution screen, one of the largest in its class. The HDMI plug has been relocated to the console interior, which now includes dedicated storage for streaming devices.

Trim Levels and Pricing

The Sport trim, starting at $49,920 MSRP, includes the digital instrument display, one-touch power moonroof, heated front seats, and Honda's Magic Slide second-row seats. The Sport-L trim, priced at $52,920 MSRP, adds unique styling elements such as a blacked-out exterior and red-stitched leather interior.

The Touring trim, available in winter and priced at $58,320 MSRP, offers additional features like satellite navigation, CabinWatch, ventilated front seats, and a premium audio system. The top-tier Black Edition, priced at $60,120 MSRP, includes exclusive styling elements and perforated leather seats with red stitching.

All trims share a fuel economy rating of 12.2/8.5/10.6 L/100km (city/highway/combined).

Performance and Safety

The 2025 Odyssey is powered by a 280-horsepower V6 engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission featuring paddle shifters. Honda's commitment to safety is evident in the standard inclusion of the Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistive technologies across all trim levels.

Emile Korkor, Assistant Vice President of Honda Sales and Marketing, stated, "The 2025 Odyssey will continue to set the standard in its segment with stunning new styling cues, evolved technology, entertainment features, and of course legendary DQR all powered by Honda's popular V6 engine."

With its combination of updated styling, advanced technology, and family-friendly features, the 2025 Honda Odyssey aims to maintain its position as a leading choice in the minivan segment for Canadian families.
